Why Avoya exists

We noticed something broken

People weren't failing at fitness because they lacked motivation. They were failing because the environment made consistency exhausting. We've been training Bromley since 2020, first as Bromley Fitness Centre, and everything we rebuilt was designed to fix that.

Crowded budget gyms where you circle for equipment and leave frustrated. Premium clubs where you pay £120 a month for pools you never use. Boutique studios with mandatory classes when all you wanted was to lift weights quietly.

No one was asking: why don't people want to keep coming back? So we built a gym around that question.

Avoya's gym floor: timber-slat walls, planting and warm light Bromley, since 2020

The system

Built for consistency, not willpower

Nothing here is accidental. Six deliberate choices make Avoya a different kind of Bromley gym: each one costs us something, and each one is what makes showing up feel good.

01 Three members together on the gym floor

Member-capped by design

We limit how many people can join. It contradicts standard gym economics, and it creates familiar faces, available equipment and breathing room.

02 A staff member walking the floor with two members

Culture, enforced

Zero tolerance for harassment and judgment, actively maintained rather than posted on a wall. Members who break it are warned, then removed.

03 A member rehydrating in warm evening light, eyes closed, the recovery mindset

Sauna & ice bath recovery

Ice bath and Finnish sauna, right beside the floor and included with Club membership. Training breaks you down. The recovery suite is where the results are actually built.

04 An Avoya coach guiding a member through a press, both focused and smiling

We are invested in your results

Your progress is the point, not your direct debit. That's why we built the 6-Week Protocol: a coached reset with a roadmap, so you're never left guessing. Prefer ongoing coaching? Choose 1-to-1 or small group personal training.

05 The lounge area: armchairs, tables and planting beside the cardio zone

Designed with intention

Natural materials, planting and proper spacing between equipment. Every metre of the floor was a decision. Nothing is filler, nothing wears you down.

06 24 hours open sign set into the living plant wall

Open 24/7

Every membership includes round-the-clock access. Train before the school run, after the late shift, or whenever your week actually allows.

The experience

How it should feel

Not promises. Design goals: the six things every choice above is built to produce.

01

You look forward to going

The space pulls you in naturally, not through guilt or forced discipline.

02

You feel seen

Familiar faces. Your name, not your membership number.

03

You train your way

Chasing intensity, moving gently, being social or staying in your zone, every approach is valid.

04

You feel unburdened

No eyes on you. No judgment. Just you and your practice, however that looks today.

05

You trust the experience

The equipment you need will be there. The space won't be chaos. The culture is real.

06

You feel quietly proud

Not because of dramatic milestones, but because you've shown up for yourself, again and again.

Membership

One membership. One protocol. No tier maze.

We stripped membership back to the two things that actually matter: a protected floor to train on, and real direction when you want it. Club membership gives you the whole gym for £56 a month; the 6-Week Protocol adds a dedicated coach when you want one.

Open access

Club membership

The full floor, the recovery suite, classes including Mat Pilates, The Relief Club and Momentum HIIT, and 24/7 access, all for £56 a month, protected by the member cap. Train on your terms, at your hours.

  • 24/7 access on every membership
  • Ice bath & Finnish sauna included
  • Capped floor: space and kit, always

Coached reset

The 6-Week Protocol

A dedicated coach, a precise roadmap and six weeks of engineered structure: training, nutrition, sleep and stress. For people who are done guessing.

  • Reclaim your physical presence
  • Habit architecture that outlasts motivation
  • The relief of absolute certainty

The 6-Week Protocol

Six weeks. A complete reset.

Most people don't need more intensity. They need direction. The Protocol pairs you with a dedicated coach and a precise roadmap, then engineers the structure around your actual life: training, nutrition, sleep and stress.

By the end you're not guessing anymore. You have a body that moves better, habits that hold when life gets chaotic, and certainty about exactly what to do next.

Questions

Your Bromley gym, answered

Where is Avoya Fitness in Bromley?

We're at 9–13 Elmfield Road, Bromley BR1 1LT, in Bromley town centre and about two minutes' walk from Bromley South station. Members also train with us from Beckenham, Shortlands, Hayes and Chislehurst.

Is Avoya the old Bromley Fitness Centre?

Yes. We've been training Bromley since 2020, first as Bromley Fitness Centre. Same address, rebuilt as Avoya around one question: why don't people want to keep coming back?

What are your opening hours?

Members have 24/7 access, every day of the year. The gym is staffed Monday to Friday 8am–8pm and Saturday to Sunday 8am–5pm. That's the best time to drop in for a tour or a chat with the team.

How much is gym membership in Bromley at Avoya?

Club membership is £56 a month. It covers the full training floor, the sauna and ice bath recovery suite, group training and 24/7 access. The 6-Week Protocol is available when you want a dedicated coach and a structured reset.

Do you have a sauna and ice bath?

Yes. Our recovery suite has a Finnish sauna and a dual-thermal ice bath right beside the training floor, and both are included with Club membership at no extra cost.

What does "member-capped" mean?

We limit how many people can join. That means the equipment you need is free when you need it, the floor has room to breathe, and you'll get to know the faces around you.

Is there parking at the gym?

Yes. On-site parking permits are available as a paid add-on to your membership. Spaces are limited, so ask the team about availability when you join. Bromley South station is also just two minutes' walk away.

Can I look round before I join?

Of course. Book a tour, come in during staffed hours, meet the team and see how the place feels. The coffee's on us, and nobody's reading you a sales script.
